Alternator Blues Fan Rubbing

I have just had my alternator rebuilt, new belts, etc. Fan rubs like it did when I decided to repair. replaced Fan bearing as well. of course rubs on bottom of fan housing from the down force. any thoughts.

Mine has a slight rub in the bottom of the housing.
It was due to a bad tolerance ring (plastic bearing cup) in the alternator rear bearing housing.
Also make sure the fan housing strap is not over tightened.
Follow the torque spec on the strap bolts.

Thanks for the thoughts. if I over tighten the 4 alternator bolts to align the alternator in the fan housing, the alternator freezes. there doesn't seem to be anything significant holding the alternator to the fan housing, unless maybe the housing is warped. is that a common occurrence at 30,000 miles?
