FD Motorsports control arm bushings $103 vs control arm monoballs $650

FD Motorsports sells urethane control arm bushing kit for $103, they are way more cost effective than monoballs. I have had urethane bushings in other cars and they have worked very well. I have never driven a car with monoballs. Does anyone have experience with both? And would you be able to tell me what the benefit is with monoballs for the extra $550. I do track days and use my car on the street.

If you use your cars on the street I would do the poly bushings.

Track only - uniball.

I just bought a set of those poly from FD for my 92

I tried the poly bushings and special grease and they started squeaking loudly after about two years.

Monoballs do not have long lifespans.

I recommend rs/sport rubber bushings. I got mine directly from partworks.de

I put Chris walrod bushings that Fd Motorsports sells on two 993. Many miles on one of them after install. No shaking or squeaking on either car yet
