C2 Factory Alarm Question

On a 1993 C2, were factory alarms standard? How were they activated? By the driver's door key? If you tried starting the car without disabling the alarm, will it crank, but just not start? Does it cut off the fuel supply or the ignition spark or ?? I posted earlier about a wrecked '93 C2 that I am considering buying. The driver's door has been replaced, so you can't use the original key to open it (or disarm the alarm, if thats how it is disarmed). It has been sitting without starting for a long time. It cranks and the seller says there is spark, but no fuel. He thinks the alarm system shuts off the fuel. I'm wondering if the injectors are completely clogged. I am trying to buy this car long distance. Any help would be appreciated.

I think the alarm was standard on all C2's. They are activated by either door key. I think the alarm will shut off the DME Relay awhich controls the DME and the Fuel Pump Power. So try to use the passenger door key. They are redundant.
