Twist Alloys onto 964 hub
Hi
I have some Cup 3 7.5Jx17H2 alloys for a project i am doing (https://www.ssvc.org.uk/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=86279) which involves transplanting the transmission from a 964 into a split screen camper. Is there a way of fitting these alloys, which fit a bolted hub, onto the 964 studded hub, crucially without using an adapter as i have clearance restrictions? Are there drilled hubs or can the studs be removed and the hubs tapped? Thank you for any advice. |

Thanks Ian. I don't have a set of wheel nuts so did not know if there was clearance for the socket in the bolt well of the wheel. Will purchase a set of nuts.

If you go for the original aluminium alloy nuts , spend the extra 15 quid or so on a soft socket and don’t over-torque them .
