Early/Late Throttle Bodys and ECU?

Are both early and late 964 throttle bodies compatible with any manual 964 ECU/

Someone must know - I have a person interested in buying my 964 throttle body.

I doubt there is any discernible difference between the early aluminum and late plastic plenum in
respect to the associated ECU's .

Just saw you are referring to the throttle bodies themselves again not sure there is any great difference
between early and late ..
Now 964 to 993 yes there are a few which wouldn't allow compatibility

I've been told I need a new throttle body. Can I ask you how much you are selling your for?

It may be cheaper to just buy one new? That said I do not know what a new one costs.

My throttle body has the aluminum runners etc. if you are interested I can get a price and pictures for you.


I was told it was a take off from a low mileage car - however, that means nothing with used parts and the real history of them.

If not on Pelican, do a Google search.

Dealer, Auto Atlanta etc.

They are around.

The throttle body itself is detachable from the plenum intake of course , I’ve found it could be worth it to inquire about new from the dealer or even eBay has suppliers that
would have it ... worth checking around , Bert
