964 Convertible Top Switch Not Working?

Trying to figure out why the top motors on my 90 964 Cabriolet top aren't turning on when I press the toggle switch? Here's what I'm doing and seeing:

1. Convertible top warning light is lit
2. Turn ignition key to positing 2
3. Press the rearward portion of the toggle switch.

Result? Nothing happens. Maybe the switch is broken? Is there a specific fuse number or relay number to check? If there are no blown fuses or bad relays, should I release the front top latches manually with a screwdriver and test to make sure power is getting to the latch motors?

Manually looses the two nuts in the rear first then use screwdriver to unlock the top latches then lower the top

My '90 stopped about four years ago also. There is a control unit for it under the driver side dash. You know where your knees are next to the steering column. Not much room to work, easier if you remove the driver seat. It is sort of "T" shaped if I remember. A few board solder joints were separated. Re-flowed solder on as many joints as I could and the top has been working good since.
