964 Front Wheels Off Centre - Caster Adjustment

Hi guys,

I’ve got a 964 forward date, 993 Turbo S.
I’ve never noticed the front wheels on the 911 off centre in the wheel well (Forward). Pictured are my old 18” wheels.

Recently went to a 17” and the gap and wheel is much more prominent.
I’m not sure if it’s because of the 993 guards on a 964 chassis or not.

A quick search shows that it’s a common 964 “issue/built that way”.
Just wondering how much caster adjustment there is available on a standard 964 (C4) or is it old bushes?
Or how may I go about correcting it if possible.
- I put 18” wheels on recently again and the tyres are right up on the front of the guard and I can’t turn.

The caster is adjusted by the eccentric bolt on the A arm and can move forward and back considerably. Although just don't change it. You want someone who knows suspensions to make the appropriate adjustments

Thanks, I’ll take it into a shop and get an alignment and see how much they can move it and how it’ll affect the drive.
