91 964 Tire Size Recommendation
Just acquired a 91 964 with 16" D90 wheels. Got a great set of restored 17" x 7"/8" Cup One Speedlines headed my way. What tire sizes in 17" would 964 owners recommend?

Wheels from BaT? Congrats.
Sorry, I have no first hand experience for advice. RS Americas wore 205/50/17 and 255/40/17.

Thanks. The ones on BAT were in my cue but got too rich for me. Ended up with a really nice set in the lighter more traditional silver, although I preferred the darker gunmetal grey of the ones on BAT. Those were the sizes I was thinking, thanks for confirming.

Running 225/45R17 on the front 255/40R17 on the back. Wheels are replica cup1’s that are 7.5” and 9” wide.
