993 Door hinge pillar plate stripped

I took my driver side door off and now I can't get it back on. The hinge on the top of door worked fine. The one on the bottom of the door has a loose thread piece inside it that keep moving and I can't get the bolts in the threads on the bottom part.

Is there a way to remove the thread piece and replace it with a new one that doesn't have stripped threads?

Is this piece even accessible or does it have to be cut out and welded back in?

Anyone had this happen (I am sure you have)?
