New to forums and Porsche’s

Hi all,

I been browsing these forums for the past few weeks and thought I would reach out to say hi. So Hi everyone. I hope everyone is well

Recently I had a 91 964 cab drop in my lap at a price I couldn’t resist. The 964 was always a boyhood dream car of mine and when the opportunity arose, I jumped on it. I have slowly been fixing all the little things wrong with it (or the things that drive me crazy like missing interior mirror knobs and screws to the rear cab interior trim so it kept falling down). It seems that the previous owner didn’t really didn’t keep with the interior freshness or completedness beyond keeping it running and serviced ( of which he spent a good 16k mechanically restoring the engine with a topend rebuild done by Porsche in my area.... I have receipts) apart from that it checks out and is straight as I can tell.

It appears to have had a respray at some point and a new top cover so the exterior is in pretty nice condition apart from the front bumper smile/frown of which I am able to now fix thanks to this community.

So that’s my story. I have a feeling I will be posting here again shortly to try solve a problem that’s perplexing me. I just wanted to say hi and thank you to all the experts that have gotten me this far in my semi restoration quarantine project.
