What was the price of the cover? I know of a dismantler in Los Angeles who sells many used pieces, heads, cam towers, etc. I would venture to guess that he would sell a cover by itself. I see a couple of covers in the attached picture. I have purchased a few parts from him. He seems very cooperative. He takes Paypal and if you'r not happy with an item, he will take it back. His name is Todd, check out his site at www.911pcar.com (818) PORSCHE (767-7243) (818) 768-0911 Fax (818) 335-8888 Todd's cell phone (818) 335-8055 Sara's cell phone

When you changed out the gaskets did you also use new harware (i.e. crush washers and locking nuts?) Each component contributes to sealing the valve cover. Running the valve cover sealing surface on a belt grinder will also all your to striaghten out any warpage.
