Turn signal (right rear) won't blink and Radio Issue
1993 C2, 95k miles
Issue 1: I get a normal "left" turn signal, front and rear blink fine. Go to turn right, and the dash indicates a fast blink. When I get out (leaving the right turn signal on) I see the front is blinking quickly and the rear is dead. So, I replaced all three bulbs in the rear (all six for the rear to be exact and they match). The housing looked clean, contacts looked nice - so I reassembled. Problem persists. Any gotchas on this, other than (as I am reading) yanking the airbag/steering wheel off and pulling the turn signal assembly apart and cleaning/inspecting it? Issue 2: CR-1 Radio powers on, I hear a pop on the speakers...and the backlight of the radio comes on but the screen is blank and there is no sound, no matter the buttons you push. Is this a send off for repair (400+ dollar job)? I would hope "CODE" or something would appear on the screen so that I can register the pin number....but I got nothin! I appreciate any insight. Thank you. |
A quick blink means you have a bulb out .
Is the rear light and brake light working on that side ? ( mini harness does all in lamp ) |
I replaced all six bulbs (three in each rear lamp housing) however I did not check the front, as the fronts both blinked on each side (albeit fast on the right side).

Turn signal (right rear) won't blink
I have the exact same problem in a 1991 C2 (69k miles) I bought recently. What did you do to resolve this?
When I went to check the fuse there was a blown 20A fuse inserted instead of a 7.5A fuse. When I put in another 7.5A fuse it blew immediately. Other than an aftermarket radio I don't see anything else that isn't stock. I checked all the back right lamps and they all are good, but the turn signal won't light and the right front turn signal flashes fast. |
