Anyone have a 964 front reinforcement bar?
 

My 964 is missing the front bar, anyone have one?

Are you asking about the steering rack reinforcement bar? if so they were not installed on 964's only later on the 993's. Supposedly this was to deal with the added stress of the 18" wheels although the 94 turbos had 18" wheels and no reinforcement bar.

If you have a C4 you can easily make a simple and cheap reinforcement bar from aluminum angle and bolt it in place. It is stronger than the factory or FD units and costs less than $10 to make. C2's have a bit of a fitment issue from the vacuum canister.

That is the part i think he was asking about but was not used on the 964

Guys , he means the front bumper support “ bar “ ….

I was trying to figure that out. LA Dismantlers should have them if not I have one but the shipping costs would be preventative.

I should have been more clear - yes I meant the bumper reinforcement bar. I was able to find this. Thank you.
