C4 brake boost pump leak
i have a leak between the motor and pump, anyone have any ideas where to get a flat seal for this? Ive tried several O rings but still leaks. since these are exposed to brake fluid they need to made of be either EPDM or SBR. last resort is to get flat sheets of EPDM and cut my own but wanted to know if anyone had luck in replacing theirs and where you got it?

It would be helpful if you supplied the dimensions of the seal you are looking for.

come to find out that gasket is not the issue.
there is a 8x16x5.5mm radial shaft seal pressed in to the motor housing that is the culprit. there are 2 drain holes in the housing below the seal that drain fluid if the seal fails, that is the leak. you can see the 2 holes in the bottm pic. now finding a brake fluid compatable radial shaft seal (EPDM, SRB, IIR, NR, silicone) in that size is turning out to be quite the easter egg hunt. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Good sleuthing. I believe ATE/Wabco/etc had some relation with ZF. So maybe worth contacting some power steering rebuild shops.
