993 Tip conversion completed but no spark

Hey Guys,

I've just completed a tip to G50 6 speed conversion on my 993. Which went really well until now. I can't get it to start... Fuel pump is working, turns over but no spark?
I'd really appreciate some thoughts. Thank you so much.

Assume NA duel distributor not RoW or EI conversion, are you getting voltage at the Ignition Coil pack?

The fact that you are getting crank, makes me think it is not "control/alarm" related, but...

Also, did you understand / handle DME pin 42 for Transmission Input? Not sure if that is part of start sequence or just gear position on auto (Park), but that may need your consideration.

I installed a tip harness in a manual car I built and the alarm mode did give some. no spark situations
Check the fuse on the alarm brain I discovered this blown when alarm kept arming and going off ..
JFYI .. Bert

Hey, I'm still chasing my tale on this. I don't understand DME pin 42 for trans output but will do more research. Many thanks Tom

The DME ECM is a '95 with 55 pins, right? Then pin 42 (TipTronic) when open has no effect on engine starting/running.
