964 with OSR Whinning noise.

Your help would be appreciated. I have a 1989 964 C4 (right hand drive) with a whining noise from the offside rear area. Only when hot and under drive. No leaks, smoke, just a tinny vibrating sound, under acceleration between 25 & 50 mph. Then the noise disappears. Engine and gear box are good, new suspension fitted after the noise appeared. Workshop have checked the usual and cant see anything obvious but like me they have heard it. Could there be a bearing or something on the OSR that requires investigation?
