Can't mate engine to tranny...
Hi everyone, I could use a hand. I just replaced the clutch assembly on my 3.3T motor. I didn't replace the guide tube on the tranny with the updated one because the old one looked perfectly fine. My problem is that when I mate the engine to the tranny the Throw out bearing smacks up against the guide tube and stops. The guide tube is supposed to slide inside the thow out bearing. Do I need the updated guide tube with my new clutch or am I just not angled in correctly? I bought all Sachs parts from Pelican Parts (as usual) with the following part numbers:
Pressure Plate:964.116.028.91 Clutch Disk: 964.116.014.90 Thowout Bearing: 950.116.080.08 Thanks in advance! |
