SPIKES,
It is a royal pain to integrate the older wheel to a newer “Airbag Equipped” car. If you don’t short the airbag command and control and diagnostics unit with a resister equal to the squib wire bridge, you will get a master warning and airbag error light every time you start the car and the airbag warning light will always illuminate. The real pain is you need to toggle the master warning light acknowledge switch every time you start the car. If you don’t like the OEM wheel, may I suggest a wheel that Alan Johnson Racing-Aj USA Inc sells? http://www.ajusa.com/cgi-bin/inventory/view_product?prod_id=181&part_number=AJR%20348%20090 I think it is illegal to modify the safety features of a car here in the USA. You would most likely not get caught, but when you sell the car you may be liable for any serious injury to the next owner. Keith
