I have noticed several oil leaks on my garage floor from my 1990 C2. I took it to a reliable shop who said that there were several oil hoses/lines that needed to be replaced, including one under the passenger side rocker panel. Also one under the heat exchanger. What and where exactly are these lines and how hard are they to replace. Are there any tech articles re these lines?? thanks Bob

There are other areas that need to be checked first. It requires someone who knows these beasts. It's doubtful that the line under the rocker is faulty...it's solid metal. The joint up in the front fender may weep but not the line itself.
The drain plug under the thermostat ahead of the rear wheel, the power steering pump seal on the camshaft, the valve covers, chain covers, tensioner caps, cylinder O rings need to be evaluated as they're a more likely source of leaks. There is a clamped rubber line next to the secondary muffler that could be loose. Simple check. I'd clean the engine thoroughly, run it and look for the sources. Good Luck.....as someone once told me.."They all leak eventually"
