Hot running 996

On long trips the 996 gets hot, to the point it shuts off the A/C. Any experiances, or advice ??

Aside from having air in the coolant system, I'm surprised it is getting too hot from street driving. I know a lot of people install the center radiator for track use. This is the factory cooler installed by the factory on tiptronic cars & what not. It's under $500 for the parts, and supposedly not that difficult to install. I've seen DIY pages on this modification, but I do not have any links handy. Here is a link for the radiator, itself:
