Some more of Richard Lee's 993 .

Here's a 993 turbo I spotted on my recent trip out to the midwest, this 993 was in Galena, Illinois.

Stewart: Nice car!

Front hood shocks are a relatively easy DIY project. It's been 4 years since I replaced mine and if I remember correctly, the lower attachment point of the front hood shocks 'unsnap' from their mounts. Get a long screwdriver or pry tool and just slowly apply pressure to the hood shock until it frees itself. Obviously the top mounting area uses the common pin and clip setup.

Good luck with your new 964!

Thanks Jeremy.
They are RUF wheels, manufctured by OZ.
18x8.5 fronts, 18x10 rears.

I bought them because they were one of my favorites on a 993 body style. Although, I wish they were a little bit lighter. (but, if I was really serious about weight reduction, I would loose a few pounds myself )

Max,
Hard to tell from your pics, but is your car a wide body?

I have a 1990 C2 cab and would love to put 18x10 on the rear, but I don't know if they will fit.............It would be an expensive try if they didn't work out well.........
