Thought I'd add some of my new baby.
'95 993 Cab. Guards Red and Cashmere Beige. 65K miles and in great condition.

Already added the DSP sound package (ebay $130!!) new tires (Goodyear Eagle F1's from Tirerack.com), hidden GDO, Blaupunkt in dash CD/MP3 player, new speakers (haven't found 3" replacements for the front Hi-Fi option speakers yet!).

Looking to add the remote alarm, a windstop, Red Bra and then a cover....

What a blast! The wife likes it too!

Nice looking car, grmnxtc. Could you elaborate - what is the DSP package, and which Blau MP3 head unit did you pick?

DSP package is the Porsche option code M680 (I think?) which givs you a controller that fits in the driver door under the side pocket "flap" in place of the rubber "mat" that's there already.

Then you also replace the amplifier under the passenger seat and you have the DSP option. (Digital Sound Processing), as long as you had the Hi-Fi sound option installed already (M490?)

It's a glorified "sound processor" that (supposedly!) allows the volume level to increase as you go faster, and also change the sound stage in the car to appear as if you are in a big room, or locked in a small closet.

It does appear to work, but I haven't got the windstop fitted yet (arrives Monday! YAY!!) to really try it out in anger with the top down.

Here's a shot of the controller ...

I also fitted the Blaupunkt MP34 (Monte Carlo) radio/CD/MP3.

The previous owner had an Alpine somethig in it, but all the buttons were tiny and showing wear. (I also wanted MP3 capability). The MP34 fitted the wire loom there already, had a removeable faceplate and also comes with a Wireless remote! No reaching over and fiddling (as the radio is a stretch where it's placed) just pick up the remote and play! Also, it's black face doesn't "draw the eye" and make it stick out too much.

Thanks for the information. I'll start up a new thread (EDIT- here it is: MP3 and stereo options) so I don't take this one over with stereo talk, but I'd like to ask you a couple more things if you don't mind.
Thanks,
Colin
