'97 993 C4S - What's it worth?
I ran across this car in a lot recently. Car is in pretty good shape, but by no means excellent. Exterior rock chips and scratches, interior seats are worn, some damage to leather on sun roof, back seats beat up from kids, etc. Mechanically, engine appears to be fairly solid, brakes look like they will soon need work, new cluch and fly wheel recently installed, tires are worn. Car has ~112k miles with an asking price of $33k.

I couldn't put a dollar figure on it for you but I can offer this:
I own a high mile '91 C4 Targa (admittedly not the most desirable late model) but it is in very good condition - I would drive it anywhere. But I can't seem to get Porsche buyers interested. Similar models with less mileage sell for $23 - $25k so I advertised mine for $19k to try to move it quickly. I put the mileage in the ad to be up front with everyone and very few called and the ones who did never came to look at it. It's a great car and I'm not sad to keep it, but I would like to try a 993 someday. However trading this one in may be my only option. I think that most buyers in this price range want and can get low milage cars. Just food for thought...
