non airbag s/wheel fitting onto 993

Hi All

do any of you know how to fool the airbag system to thinking the airbag wheel is still fitted. so that the passenger airbag will still work as well as the dash light will still go out as normal. was told that fitting a porsche test tool into the wiring would work but in the UK they cost £171 so it ant a cheap fix, so I am open to all advice as I have a very nice Mono to fit.

supposedly you can also pull the bulb on the dash, thus eliminating the dash light, while the passenger bag will still work.

I am not a 993 expert I just read a 993 post on a similar topic on another board and this was one guy's solution. Note it was NOT ridiculed by the other members as something stupid, illegal, etc. so maybe it's an OK - cheap - solution.
