I can recommend who not to use, Eurocar-werks off of S. Rice. Recent personal experience. Try the 944 or 911 forums over at Rennlist and look for the Texas Grease Slingers in the sig.

I used a guy by the name of Hank Ward in Houston and he did a great job helping me evaluate an 88 911. His phone # is 281-413-6829. Good luck.

Paul Kobe Motors 713-784-8937.
I've dealt with him on and off since I had my '84 944. He has sold his business, but the last time I had my '95 993 C-4 cab serviced, he was still there. I cannot speak for the new owner, but Paul was always knowledgeable and honest. He won't even screw the insurance company. He told me 20 years ago, "Tim, people ask me all the time to fudge to get more insurance coverage to lower the bill. If I'll screw them, what makes you think I won't do the same to you". I hadn't asked him to do that, but since I deal with insurance all the time in my business in a negative way most of the time, I asked him if he had a problem with people asking him that.
Also, in the 911 Tech forum just a couple of weeks ago, someone asked for that info, and 3 names were given by satified users.
Swiss Garage ask for Ueli (willie)
European Auto Technies Mike Crawley
Don't know these two yet, but had good references. But then, who did the referring ? Don't know the relationship, or reason really.
