Rear main oil seal - 964

Guys,
While I am at it, with the exhaust off complete, including heat exchangers, one should probably consider a new rear oil seal. It looks like this job could be changed with engine in situ. Has anyone been there - done that? Tools needed?

The only special tool you'll need that I can think of is the socket for the flywheel bolts (that was all I needed). It will also probably be really helpful if you have a proper clutch alignment tool.

Thanks Jason,
But by rear seal I was referring to the seal at the pulley end.

A few have read and considered the proposition, but no member has offered advice. So I expect nobody has actually been there. And I have reconsidered whether it is a viable plan. There is, in fact, a Porsche tool available to hold the pulley, while the nut is turned. BUT the original torque was 174 pounds………something above that would surely be required to remove the nut now, and, all the while, the engine would need to be supported, as the rear engine hanger would have to be out of there, for access. Oh, I think I will wait until it is out for overhaul……plenty of other things to do now.
