964 to join family

I'm thinking about buying a 964 C2 to add to keep my '86 944 na company. Obviously it would be faster, and handling would be a little bit more wild. How would it compare as far as reliability goes? Does the 964 have a strong transmision?

I have a 944 NA as well as a 964. There is no question, the 964 is a lot more fun. I have the C4 so I wish the handling was a bit more wild...my 964 sticks to the road like glue... there is no comparison. I have 200000+ miles on mine and it is still running strong and I have yet to have any issues with the manual transmission.
