where was boost gauge on 965

I'm in the process of acquiring C2 gauges to install in my 76 930.
I have the details worked out except what to do about a boost gauge. where was it located in the 965 cars?

Any idea if Hollywood or Palo Alto speedo shop can make a boost gauge for the clock hole that looks like a 964/965 part?

thanks to all for your help

The boost gauge is an electronic unit located in the bottom of the tachometer. It's not known for accuracy.

I believe there is a VDO gauge that fits in the clock spot, but you'd have to search on the 911 forum for details.

The electronic sensor for the boost gauge screwas into the back of the intercooler, and usually covered with a large red rubber boot.

Incidentally I have a 965 tack with computer and boost readout for sale.
