All,
I have 1992 964, that runs like a champ. This is my daily driver – I put 100+ miles each day. It is getting close to 100K miles on the speedometer. Should I do any kind of service at 100K like valve adjustment or something else? So far the car acts very well without any issues. The car does not leak or sweat any oil. Thanks in advance, Alan ![]() |

Nice picture!
Has the internal distributor belt ever been replaced? I think just about everything else should be taken care of by major and minor services. If you've had your 60K and 90K services, and regular oil changes and valve adjusts, you'd be OK. EDIT - it would probably be a good time to have the suspension (bushings and shocks) and bearings checked out too, but those aren't issues that leave you stranded on the road.

The air bags were I believe due for change at about ten years. Not to confuse the two, but I suggest the wife may also be past due for 100k dinner night out.......
