Interested in installing one. Any suggestions overall on whether I should or not. Brand? Cost?

You can't go wrong with the Porsche short shift kit. Others are basically copies. I haven't heard of any problems with any of the copies. It's a pretty simple device. Not sure of current costs. Shop around...
