I have a '91 964 with the original square mirrors.
I was thinking of buying used original aero mirrors from later model 964. Are these mirrors a bolt on installation? Do I have to drill new holes? Is this a pretty easy install? Thank You for the responses Last edited by jtkkz; 02-26-2005 at 08:39 PM.. |

I think late 964 and 993 aero mirrors are a bolt-on - no need to drill new holes.

They are a bolt-on, but the plug is different. You can simply remove the wiring and mirror motors from the flag mirrors, and swap them into the Aero mirrors if you get the tool to remove the pins from the connector, and draw a diagram beforehand.
