1997 No Start Condition
Help, I have a 1997 993 that is currently in my garage and wont start. I have put a battery charger on it for the last 24 hours and all I get is a very fast tick-tick-tick when I try and start the car. The battery is only a year old, however I have been having to use the charger recently to turn it over. Now that wont even work.
Could it just be the battery has gone dead, or is it worse? |

You should probably put a new battery in, if it is older than 3 years. Use a optima red top

Check the ground cable. Sometimes a small amount of corrosion or a loose connection can cause the condition you described.
