Are you speaking of the release end? Have any photos?

Yes, that's how it should be. It's a vent tube, and the reason it's going into the engine compartment is just to keep dirt and moisture out of it.

Question

Ok Thanks now anyone know where i can get the gasket that goes between the alum top and the stainless bottom. I guess you are not suppose to take off the 3 nuts for that.

Live and learn.

Yes, that tube from the top of the wastegate is a vent. Unless you add an aftermarket boost controller it should just go somewhere where it can breath well but not injest any water.

As far as that little gasket goes, I assume you might be able to order it from our host or the dealer but when I disassembled and rebuilt my wastegate mine was still relatively intact so I just used a little high temp silicon to mend what little damage occured and used it again.

Looks good! I hope that's high-temp rated hose on the actuator line!
