Smile New car ! and a couple of newbie questions

Here you are - just changed my 88 targa for a 91 c4.
It feels totally different to drive than my old 911 targa, more solid better handling/suspension/steering and all these new toys gadgets and warning lights!
heres a pic

A couple of questions
what does the rocker switch do that is on the side of the centre console (set in the carpet) i cant find mention of it in the handbook (ive pressed it and nothing "seemed" to happen

Next...the factory fit imobiliser small plastic device with 4 contacts on each side of a sticky out pcb that fits into a small pound plug with a slot in... is a bit temperamental. It looks as though the contacts on the female socket are worn/bent,where can i get a replacement socket ?
cheers stu

The button in the carpet is the manual up and down for the tail I think.

Cheers Rodney,i know colour should not come into the equation when buying but it came to a choice between guards red /black c4 or mine a cobalt blue /marine blue/white .
The red one was £500 more but perfect internally this one needs front seats refaced + gear gaiter.
Just got to find a place thatcan match the leather.
