How many bar should my oil pressure be at idle?

I got my '95 993 today and was driving it around a little bit. The oil pressure at a hot idle is around two bar. Is this normal? When I'm driving it goes up near the top. I hope this is normal? The car has 60k on it and checked out on a PPI.

Thanks,
Russell

Garage
That's the way my 964 acts after warm-up.

Thanks for the input, this makes me feel a lot better.

Is it possible that a thicker oil may help out?

What weight oil do you have in there right now?

The factory recommends 0W-40. Most experts, like Joel Reiser, agree, but add a caveat if you live someplace really, really hot. Tacoma does not qualify.

For your climate, the 0W-40 is probably the best.
