where is the condenser fan resistor
 
I was told by the PO that the condenser fan resistor is shot in my 993. Before ordering one I'd like to check it first... However i cannot seem to find it on any diagram (pet, etc). Can someone clue me in?

Common problem on 993s. Its in the left front fender, below the headlight. You can check whether its good or not by removing the relay and checking fan operation at both high and low speeds. Here are some good instructions:
