Spare tire full

Hi to all,
My car came with no spare tire pump and I was thinking if I could keep it with air in it?

I don't know the long term effects of keeping it full of air, but if it's full, where will you put it?

My suggestion: get a pump. A generic pump is only a few bucks.

Nope, it won't fit in the well while inflated.

BTW, in the event of a frontal crash, the uninflated wheel in the well is used to add to frontal integrity.

BTW: What year are we talking here? If it's the 996 then some come with a full-inflated tire while others are not. I have one of each but you'll be able to tell with your mounting points. 1999-2005
