RUF strut brace q's

I recently purchased a used Ruf Strut Brace for my C2. So if any of you guys that have one of these could help me I would appreciate it. Did the bar come wth new nuts like the Weltmiester Barce did for my 944? If so, do you know what size they are? My regular deep sockets are not thin wall and the largest socket I can get in the holes is a 10mm and I need a 13mm for the stock Porsche nuts. Did you use a thin-wall socket to install your brace? Any help would be greatly appreciatd. TIA.

You should have no issues tightening the 13mm nuts, can you describe this bar? it should be hollow and about 1.750 in diameter, with tightening collars at the ends of the bar.If not as described, then you can always use Allen head nuts.,cheers,Antonio.

The problem is that the RUF bar ends tat attach to the strut bolts are thick not flat and the where you bolt it down are inset in the aluminum mount. Most of the other braces have flat mount plates so you can just rachet the nuts on and off. Antonio is correct in that I am supposed to use Allen head nuts. A Rennlister posted a picture of his mount. I will contact RUF directly.
