Looking for Opinions on 40th Anniversary 911
I am looking at buying a new or close to new 911 (or 996 Carrera or whatever the current model number is). Besides the new models, the dealer has some nice used cars. The two that I am most interested in are the 2004 40th annv. 911 or a 2003 C4S. Both have less than 10K miles on them. Which one is the better car? I can find pricing on the C4S but not on the 40th. What are the 40th selling for these days. I saw some posts on here saying that Porsche was having a hard time selling these when they were new and was offering rebates on them. That had to have hurt the values. I like the looks of the C4S for some reason although I think they are the same or close to the same bodies. I drove them both and I liked the extra power of the 40th and it seemed to ride and feel more like a Porsche. The C4S felt heavier probably due to the AWD and seemed to have a smoother ride.
Anyways I am looking for anybodys thought and opinions on these 2 cars before I sign my life away. BTW, the dealer has them both priced about the same. (which is overpriced ![]()
