993: Loss of Fan/AC under acceleration w/woosh?

As the title indicates - i suspect a vacuum leak, but wonder if a Pelican out there has any additional troubleshooting specifics.

Under half or more throttle the car loses all air flow from upper vents - i cant tell if the air redirects, but the wooshing sound it makes makes me think a dash vent closes and or starts to redirect the air.

Thoughts?

You have a vacuum leak. A wonderful tec has a very good walkthru of the problems / causes for the 993 HVAC.
