The Essential Companion.....
I can't believe I went through a year of hell trying to sort my 993 conversion without Adrians book.......
I had thought it was a 'coffee table' type tome but now that I have it in my hands I see this is the 'missing link' of 993 DIY manuals.... Thanks, Adrian.......

I have recently changed track cars - from a 1984 911 coupe to a 1995 993; once it arrives I will post details.
In the process of learning about this new-to-me car I wanted something like the Bentley Carrera manual, but there isn't one for the 993. I was aware of Adrian's book but did not expect it to include much in the way of maintenance/mods info but much to my pleasant surprise find that it does. I think it is going to be an enormous help, certainly a lot more than a 'coffee table' book. I too would ask 'So what is "the best'?'

The factory 993 manuals are pretty good for DIY. Everything's in there, you just have to find it.
