996 Newbie with lots of questions

Car didn't come with an owner's manual. Anyone have one in pdf or an extra sitting around (99)?
Headlight lenses are a bit shabby. Is this a one piece megabucks thing or is cover separate?
A number of center console rattles. Quick fix?
Same with sunroof when open.
Seat back adjuster passenger side handle broken. Whole assy or quick fix?
21.2 mpg on first 2 tanks mixed driving. That about normal?
Is this the best balanced street car you have ever driven, or am I just easy? A Porsche in the twisties, a Mercedes on the interstate, a Camry in traffic. I am in love.
Want to take it to the track with POC at least once. The limits are so high on this I'm not about to explore them on the street. Starting TP for Kumho 17's? Any precautions?

Sounds like you bought from the same guy I did.
I've gotten about the same MPG on the first 2 tanks too.
The center console has a plastic hinge that is fragile, mine was busted. Infact, I just ordered the metal update this morn. Don't know about the Camry thing (just kidding).
I've done plenty of track days on Kumho MX's. Hard to beat due to the price. You can get better tires that have a better grip and stay more consistant while getting hot. But, me and my buddy typically go through a set of tires a year, so there really isn't (for me) a valid arguement for buying pilots or KD's when I'm gonna tear them up.
Anywho, they are pretty good and don't get greasy until they are abused fairly hard for 15 minutes or so (I'm thinking of the streets of willow).

Where do you get the updated hinge? Every car I've looked at, have the broken lid.

I guess it comes directly from Porsche. I order stuff through a little Porsche shop that can get a slightly better price on OEM stuff. Can't remember the price though. I'll get the $ and part number for you a little later.

Thanks, Brit. Picked it up today. Parts guy was pretty impressed I knew the part #.
