Oil Light problem

I have a 96 993 C2 and every so often my oil light comes on. This seems to happen when braking or turning hard, or under hard acceleration. My oil pressure never drops when or during the light is lit. My oil level is where it should be. The oil light goes off after a few seconds. Is this a bad sensor? If so which one do I need to change?
Also when I bought the car the oil level sender was discovered to have failed. I have a new one but have not installed it yet. Is this part related to my problem?
Thanks for any help.

I would guess that the bad sender is what is causing your light to come on. It's the "bad sensor" that you ask about. Replace the sender and see if the light problem goes away.
