Misc - Magbra & Wheel Finishing
I've have a 95 Carerra. Two topics today:
- One piece of a two-part magbra blew off at 60 MPH. (Supposed to be good between 160 - 180 mph, but probably a good reason for it to happen). It seems Magbra is no longer in business (PCA magazine no longer has their adverstisment, and nor is his website available). Does any one have a 95 magbra for sale, or at least one part (passenger side)? Also, might there be a company that manufactures magnetic bras or perhaps magnetic material that can be cut to size, perhaps? - Does anyone know of a cheap but good wheel finisher for the Technology 17 & 18" wheels (curb scratches/dents) in the Washington, D.C./Northern Virginia area? Thanks. db |

You can buy sheet magnetic vinyl from a number of suppliers, such as sign/lettering shops. Might not be as thick as a Magbra though (I have both).
Check with Chuck Moreland at Elephant Racing (www.elephantracing.com) - his track skins might do the trick.
