Clutch replacement
Recently my car had developed a throw out bearing problem, and when I brought it to the dealer they said may as well do the whole clutch while we are in there. My car is an 89 911 C4, with 49K miles so that is not completely out of line. My question is this, should I bring it to the dealer and pay around $2700, or order a clutch kit from Pelican Parts and do it with a friend that owns an import tuning shop? Neither of us has every worked on a Porsche, so more to the point, should we try and tackle this or should I bring it to the dealer?
Thanks Todd |
