964/964 turbo rear swaybar
Can anyone tell me if there is any difference in the size of the 964 rear swaybar and the 964 turbo (965) ? Not interested in thickness but if you can interchange between cars. Looking at a vendor who lists a 19mm for 964 but a 22mm for 965 and I need more rear bar. Already have Cup car rear bar on my RSA and she still "pushes like a pig" Thanks ,Roger

I'm not sure on the size difference but I agree a 19 mm is way too small for much track work. I have a 23 mm from TRG in the rear (and a 25 mm bar up front). You could always call TRG (or Pelican!) to get the information.

got the answer!The turbo bar is 3"wider than the 964 bar so it will not fir. Thanks

Sorry, TRG and RUF don't list one for the 965 either. Don't have an answer for you. At least TRG still has one available for my RSA. There was an ex-Adcco engineer who built custom bars listed in GrassrootsMotorsports magazine. Just checked my last couple of copies but couldn't find his ad. Perhaps try their web site to get his website or phone. Last I talked to him all he needed were your specs and your bar for a template to bend one to your needs.
