Air Flow For Heater Blower
Hey all, 1990 C2 Cabrio here, , when I turn on the heater, center left vent and passenger side work great, good airflow, lots of heat
Drivers side and right center, not so much, very, very limited drivers side blow and it seems kinda cool. Strange. Any ideas? Is there a damper somewhere I'm missing that may have gotten closed somehow? Yes, for you smartasses, the vents are open (First thing I checked). Semper Fi, James

I would target the little electric motors that move the vents inside the airbox. The vents control the air mixture for cold/outside/heated air within the car. It sounds like the vent that controls this mixing is not working (possibly disconnected from the motor or arm). Check inside your trunk. With the car off turn the temp knob to full cold, turn the ignition switch on and watch the control arms. Then with the car off turn the knob to full heat; turn the car on and watch the control arms. If nothing happens you may have a bad motor on that side.

Try the Pcar.com site. I believe there is a servo tutorial dealing with this.
