Front light rock guards (clear polymer) - where to buy?
My 993 front lights all have thick clear rock guards over the lenses, including the fogs. This is a few mm thick clear and relatively soft plastic. I do think these work great keeping the lenses from getting smashed. One of these started to peel and catch dirt and the rest are a bit yellowed since these were installed 20+ years ago by the first owner.
I would like to replace them, they served me well, and looking at lens prices, seems like it'd be a good investment! Is anyone still selling these guards? Where do I find them? A google search turned up nothing. Thanks!

In the US, you can buy sheets of this film from LaminX.
The fog light is a simple shape so just trim to fit. |

+1 on Lamin-X. I got headlight and foglight film from them. They have pre-cut film for both. You have to trust, as their instructions state, that the fine bubbles will dissipate on their own.
Works and looks great. |
