..PLEASE PLEASE I NEED HELP....................................hi just bought a 91 c2 the salvage dealer said the car had a tranny leak caused by a broken hose i was so dumb .....yea dumb to think this guy was telling me the truth any how i bought the car for 13 large jacked it up to check or fill the tranny a what a suprise it didnit need oil i still have no forward or reverse the car has 54000 miles on the clock anybody know what i should do next who can you trust these days or is there a minor fix and if i had the transmision changed how much would i expect to pay i still think i got a good car ....is it worth it to fix it ...thanks

There is nothing special about those transmissions. They're ZF if I remember correctly. Any Transmission shop can tell you if its just a bad valve or something worst..
But with 54k miles its highly unusual, no even if you abused the tranny because its computer managed so you can't do much to harm it but select park while moving. Ask a specialist (not the Porsche dealership cause they'll want you to buy a brand new tranny for 10,000)
