water question

Yesterday as I washed my 964 -90, I noticed that I have water in the right hand side footwell under the carpets. Any ideas, as other carpets were dry and the car has been inside for 5 months. The car is equipped with sunroof.

Kris

Unfortunately, that is fairly common. It could be the sunroof seal, blocked sunroof drain tube, window seal, or even the windshield seal. Some careful squirting with a water bottle should turn up the culprit.

If the carpet is wet, the foam pad underneath is probably saturated. Try to squeeze the water out of the foam and let it dry out of the car.
